AI credits
How AI credits work
Credits measure AI work, priced from what each AI provider actually charges. They are not model tokens.
The formula
retail value = actual provider cost ÷ cost ratio
credits = retail value × 100,000 per US dollar, rounded upAt the default ratio, $1.00 of provider cost = 333,334 credits.
The cost ratio is 30% by default. Our billing admin can set it between 5% and 90%; each change is versioned, and every charge records the ratio version it used — so a later change never recalculates past charges.

Example costs, not quotes. What a request costs depends on the model, the size of the request and the provider’s price at that moment.
1,000,000 credits is not 1,000,000 model tokens
Model providers count input and output tokens and price them differently for every model. CVRLanding turns the real cost of each call into credits, so a plan buys a predictable amount of AI value whichever model runs.
Reserve first, then settle
Before an AI request runs, the worst-case estimate is reserved from your balance. When the provider reports actual usage, the real cost is charged and the rest is released. If usage is missing, the charge is marked estimated until it is reconciled.
The most AI cost a grant can cover
If every credit in a grant is spent, this is the largest provider cost it pays for at the default ratio.

Billing terms in plain words
Credit expiry
Monthly credits are granted for each paid billing period and expire at its end — unused credits don’t roll over. Credits that expire soonest are spent first.
Trial credits
The trial grants 20,000 credits once. They are not renewed and expire when the trial ends.
If credits run out
New AI requests pause until your next period or an upgrade. You can still view and export your data, and published pages are not deleted because a balance reached zero.
Paddle is the merchant of record
Subscriptions are sold and invoiced by Paddle, which handles payment and sales tax. Paddle’s name may appear on your bank statement.
Taxes
Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. VAT, GST or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on where you are.
Cancel any time
Cancel or change your plan in the customer portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Billing questions
Is there an unlimited AI plan?
No. AI calls cost real money, so every plan has a credit grant. You can always see your balance, what is reserved and every settled charge.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. A monthly grant expires at the end of its billing period, and trial credits are a one-time grant.
Will I know what a request costs before it runs?
Expensive tasks show an estimate first, and you see what is reserved before the AI starts. The final charge follows actual provider usage and is normally below the reserve.
Who sends my invoice?
Paddle, as merchant of record. Invoices, receipts and payment methods are in the customer portal.
Can I change plans?
Yes, in the customer portal. Paddle handles any proration, and your credit grants follow the plan you pay for.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are processed through Paddle. The billing and refunds policy explains when we refund and what happens to credits.
